Kia Magentis Saloon 4 door

After just eighteen months on sale in the UK, Kia's large Magentis saloon has received a restyle and a slight makeover. These latest revisions are intended to differentiate the Magentis more from its sister model, the Hyundai Sonata, giving it a more sporting character. The new model makes the availability of the 2.0-litre petrol engine for the first time in the UK; previously, only the 2.5 V6 was offered. Selling well elsewhere in the world, the Magentis is particularly biased towards the US market, but it offers the same basic proposition to we Europeans: a lot of car at a low price, and more refinement than you'd expect. Whatever else it might not be, the Magentis is certainly good value for money.
