Kia cee'd scoops awards
The Kia cee'd has been given two more awards to recognise the impact it has had on the market since its launch, car buyers looking for a new motor may be interested to know.Hailed by Kia as a "success story", the cee'd scooped the Green Award at the 2007 Practical Caravan Towcar Awards 2007 and was also named as the Best Hatchback by What Diesel Car?.
Already the vehicle has won the Idea of the Year Autocar Award, perhaps partly attributable to the seven-year warranty offered by Kia.
Paul Philpott, managing director of Kia Motors (UK), commented: "Two more awards underline the design, quality, engineering, style and the substance of the cee'd and the seven-year warranty shows our faith in the car."
He added that he is delighted that the company has won the Green Award.
According to Kia, the car's development utilises highly advanced quality-control systems and cutting-edge technology.
