Customer service earns award for Kia
Kia's commitment to customer service was recognised when the company was given a special award in Auto Express's New Car Honours.The trophy was awarded for the market-leading seven-year warranty that comes with the Kia cee'd.
When first offered, the warranty covered the power-train for seven years and everything else for five, but in April this year it was extended to offer bumper-to-bumper cover for the full seven years.
Customer-friendly touches like that and improvements to the product range have helped to establish Kia as a force in the European car market, according to television presenter and former racing driver Tiff Needell, who handed over the award.
"With the introduction of their first truly European product early this year and its industry leading seven-year warranty, Kia has given us all a reason to think twice before we buy elsewhere," he added.
Meanwhile, Kia has announced it will unveil a three-door version of the c'eed, which will be known as the Pro-c'eed, at September's Frankfurt International Motor Show.
