KKia has announced a host of discounts for parents who have recently welcomed a new addition into their family, in an effort to promote the family-friendliness of its multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).
Starting immediately, parents who have had a baby in the last six months or are expecting one soon will be eligible for a range of cut-price deals on a new Kia Carens.
For instance, parents of a new-born baby can get a discount of £500 on a Carens, while parents of twins can get £1,000 off.
The discounts increase incrementally with the number of children born at the same time, so that mums and dads who have just given birth to quintuplets qualify for a completely free car.
KKia Motors UK's communications director Stephen Kitson said that the MPV, which is available in five-door and seven-door versions, should prove popular among growing families.
"The Carens has everything a growing family needs and we are happy to lighten the financial load of any parents who find themselves with new additions to the family," he said.
KKia, which is based in South Korea, recently unveiled plans for its first car plant in the US.
Located in Georgia, the factory is scheduled to begin production in 2009.
