Prospective buyers of the Kia Carens will soon be able to check out the individual features of their new car purchase online before making a decision, it has been revealed.
From the end of May 2007, KKia enthusiasts will be able to access an all-new vehicle design element of the company's website, which enables them to preview features such as bike racks, alloy wheels and tow bars for the multi-purpose vehicle.
In addition to the internet, the service can also be used directly at Kia car dealerships.
Emma Horne, KKia Motors UK's aftersales marketing manager, said that customer demand was driving the initiative, since 90 per cent of KKia buyers admit to now starting research on the internet.
"We have responded to this change in shopping habits by making this tool available online, when previously shoppers would have to go into a showroom to view a limited range of accessories," she said.
In related KKia news, the South Korean automaker recently cited independent research suggesting that the Sorento retains 70 per cent of its original price tag after three years, while the Picanto holds 62 per cent of its starting value.
