New motoring prize for Jaguar XF
An industry publication has given the Jaguar XF a top automobile award.The vehicle has been handed the Car of the Year prize by Auto Express as part of its New Car Honours 2008 ceremony.
It marks the latest award that has been given to the company for the model this year, after gongs from What Diesel magazine, What Car? magazine, Top Gear magazine and the Sun Motoring.
Geoff Cousins, Jaguar Cars UK managing director, said he is "absolutely thrilled" with the achievement.
He said: "This has been a fantastic year for Jaguar with the XF leading the success of our revitalisation plan ... We couldn't be more pleased with the reaction it has received."
This comes as gadget website T3.com has this week unearthed pictures of a motorcycle put together by an enthusiast which has been made to resemble the Jaguar logo.
