Rocker auctions of iconic Jaguar XJS
Any rock music lover/Jaguar enthusiast out there may be forgiven for thinking all their Christmases have come at once, as Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith has decided to auction off his 1986 Jaguar XJS.Topping-out at over 150 mph the XJR boasts a 5.3 litre, V12 engine gets and one careful celebrity owner.
The metallic silver blue convertible in question makes nought to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds and is owned by the man who had a hand in the success of one of the biggest heavy metal band of the 1980s, reports rock radio.
"Introduced in 1976 as a replacement for the iconic E-Type, the XJS was manufactured until 1996, before being replaced the following year by the XK8," the website explains.
Jaguar was founded back in 1922 and is now one of the world's biggest manufacturer of sports cars and saloons.
