Jaguar to showcase new XJRs at Paris Motor Show
Jaguar will today showcase its new XKR Coupe, XK Convertible and XJR Portfolio in Paris at the 2006 motor show.All three new models have brought strong sales for the company during September and overall sales have been rising steeply in the last 12 months.
Costing £62,040, Jaguar's XJR portfolio has some striking exterior features, including sculpted aluminium side power vents, chrome-finished exhausts and 20-inch sports wheels.
The eye-catching Jags were first unveiled at the British International Motor Show in July and company bosses say business is booming partly because of a continuing increase in the number of chauffeur vehicles.
Managing director of Little's Chauffeur Drive, Heather Matthews, said: "The new Jaguar XJ Long Wheelbase Diesel is perfectly suited to our business and the chauffeur drive market combining comfort, prestige and elegance with excellent fuel economy.
"We are delighted to be the first company in the UK to showcase these new vehicles."
Now one of the biggest manufacturer's of saloon and sports cars in the world, Jaguar began life in 1922 making motorcycle sidecars.
