New Jaguar car is "stunning"
It may not be available until the end of this year, but the latest Jaguar car has been tipped to cause a stir when it goes on show at next week's Salon Prive.The "stunning" all-new XJ model will be unveiled to members of the public for the very first time at the event, which takes place in London's esteemed Hurlingham Club.
Boasting top levels of personal luxury, next-generation bodywork and a brand-new panoramic glass roof, the vehicle promises to be the centre of attention, according to the manufacturer.
With prices starting from £52,500 for the standard 3.0-litre v6 diesel Luxury, the XJ is expected to drum up plenty of interest ahead of its arrival in Jaguar dealerships at the end of 2009.
Geoff Cousins, UK managing director of Jaguar Cars, said: "The [Salon Prive] event offers an excellent opportunity to put the new XJ in front of an audience of potential customers."
The vehicle, which was given its global unveiling just a fortnight ago, also made an appearance at an exclusive event at the Saatchi Gallery in London last week, where chat show host and car enthusiast Jay Leno was on hand to reveal the luxury saloon.
