Motorists given glimpse of new Jaguar XJ-series
Motorists have been given a glimpse of the forthcoming Jaguar XJ-series, which promises to feature a host of new luxuries inside the cabin.Set to be revealed at the Geneva motor show this month, the 2008 edition of the XJ incorporates heated front seats across the range, while back-seat passengers should be able to luxuriate in more leg room than ever before.
Meanwhile, all models will showcase an upgraded Bluetooth-connectivity system that can enable up to five mobiles to connect to the car's purpose-built telephone system, which may be particularly attractive to business executives on the go.
Geoff Cousins, UK managing director of Jaguar, remarked: "XJ sales results in 2006 showed a 25 per cent increase versus 2005.
"And, with these specification enhancements, our customers can now benefit from an even better value-for-money proposition."
First introduced in 1968, the XJ-series is now established as one of the longest-running executive car brands in the UK.
