Jaguar XJ named Best Executive Car
The Jaguar marque has received plaudits from an independent motoring magazine for its executive car lineup, it has been revealed.Winner of the Best Executive Car category at the Auto Express Used Car Honours 2007 was the Jaguar XJ, in recognition of its driving dynamics and low running costs.
Also picking up accolades at the automotive publication's awards ceremony was the S-Type, which came second in the Best Executive Car listings, while the XK came runner-up in the Sporting category.
Commenting, Paul Stauvers, used car sales manager at Jaguar, said: "I am delighted the XJ has won this award for the second year running and equally pleased to see that the S-Type and XK have come second in their categories."
In related news, the XJ 2008 model was put on display for the first time at the Geneva motor show last month.
Among other innovations, the model featured an upgraded Bluetooth system, heated front seats and enhanced rear-seat legroom.
