The brand new Jaguar XK has undergone stringent technical and performance testing before its release.
The new luxury model has been tested across five continents and delivered high performance across the board, particularly in road handling and speed trials.
Tested in the United States, Europe and Japan, South Africa and the Middle East, the vehicle held up well under intense heat and humidity, Strategiy reports.
The Jaguar XK comes fitted with a 4.2 litre V8 engine, thermal and air conditioning. The new aluminium lightweight body uses aerospace technology and provides a ten per cent improvement on the previous XK's power to weight ratio and is 180kg lighter than its competitors.
Jaguar Middle East and North Africa managing director, Andy Gawthorpe, said: "We wanted to guarantee that this new amazing vehicle meets and excels its dynamic driving abilities, performance parameters, and comfort levels that are the epitome of a sophisticated sporting luxury vehicle."
The sports car follows a decade on from the current XK coupe and went on sale early this year, with convertible, coupe and diesel versions available. Produced at the company's Whitley plant in Britain, the XK is the most technologically advanced car ever produced by Jaguar.
