An automotive magazine claims to have received a sneak peak of the forthcoming Jaguar XF, which will succeed the current S-Type model.
Although the XF is not scheduled for its world debut until September 2007, Sam Hardy, motoring journalist at Auto Express, has released pictures that he asserts are a prototype of the vehicle.
With regards to the exterior, Mr Hardy has revealed that the new XF will aim to boost space while maintaining many of the features of its predecessor.
"While the new car is based on the same platform as the current S-Type, a widened track and increased wheelbase mean its cabin will have more space for passengers and luggage," he said.
Moving inside the vehicle, the model features aluminium facia combined with leather, wood and carbon fibre that he has said will give the interior a "sporty and modern feel".
The S-Type, which is currently on sale at Jaguar car dealerships up and down the UK, was originally launched in 1999.
The executive Jaguar car is available with either a five or six-speed transmission, depending on personal preference.
