Hyundai makes green debut at Goodwood
Automobile manufacturer Hyundai this past weekend made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.The Korean firm appeared at the exhibition, which was held between Friday July 11th and Sunday July 13th, with a stand at the Green Technology of Tomorrow pavilion.
On display was its QarmaQ concept vehicle, which requires less than 80 litres of fuel to run each year and cuts emissions of greenhouse gases annually by 200kg.
Before the festival, the car had only been seen at international motor shows, with Goodwood representing its debut in the UK.
Hyundai commented: "The QarmaQ develops and validates over 30 key technologies, which will be selectively incorporated into future Hyundai production models."
This comes as Hyundai has announced that it will be supplying power trains for around 171,000 buses for Xiamen Golden Dragon bus company in China in the next five years.
