Hyundai to showcase in Geneva

Hyundai is one of a selection of car manufacturers who will be showcasing high tech new models at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

High-spec vehicles will be on show at the event, which is one of the world's premier car shows. In total, ten new Hyundai car models will be on display, featuring the latest innovations in Hyundai car manufacturing. These include a concept car and exclusive new hatchback, codenamed the FD.

It is reported that the FD is the first Hyundai model designed specifically for the European market.

In addition, KKia Motors, sister company to Hyundai, will reveal its latest three-door soft-top convertible concept car, named the EX cee'd. Other manufacturers who will be exhibiting at the show include GM Daewoo, who will unveil a range of new models for 2007.

Other high profile marques at the Geneva Motor Show include Audi, BBMW, Ferrari, Ford and Mercedes-Benz. The show is expected to attract somewhere in the region of 700,000 visitors.

The 77th Geneva Motor Show takes place in March.
