Hyundai has announced it is to revamp its Sonata range with the introduction of three new engines.
As of the start of July the Hyundai Sonata is available with a new 2.0 litre 4-cylinder petrol, 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel and 3.3 litre V6 petrol engines, while the standard 2.4 litre engine is no longer being offered.
The 2.0 litre petrol model is available from £16,995 on-the-road, while the diesel is priced at £17,995 and the 3.3 litre V6, which produces 232 bhp, is priced at £19,995 on-the-road.
Meanwhile, a number of new features have been added to all Sonata models. Smartnav now features in all Sonata models, offering drivers their desired directions at the press of a button.
And it is not just postcode locations and addresses that can be entered into Smartnav. Drivers can search for the nearest chemist, supermarket or kebab shop and receive directions almost instantly.
Furthermore, Sonata models in the standard specification range have been kitted out with an integrated audio system, with compatible CD player and controls mounted on the steering wheel to permit easier and safer control.
The Korean manufacturer said that all its models are backed with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
