Korean car giant Hyundai has bucked the UK car market's downward trend, seeing an increase in November sales year-on-year.
Hyundai also increased its UK market share year to date in a market that was eight per cent down overall against 2004.
The success of Hyundai is down to its ability to create cars that are affordable for the first time buyer and are cheap to repair. The popular Getz supermini, which helped add to the company's success, offers UK drivers the opportunity to zip around town, park with ease, all for an extremely low price.
Managing director of Hyundai Motor UK Tony Whitehorn said: "Hyundai customers recognise the inherent value in our proposition of high quality cars at great prices, all backed by the quality seal of approval of our unique and industry leading five-year warranty."
Hyundai sold 2,359 units in the UK last month, compared with 2,307 last year.
Another vehicle leading to the sales charge is the Tucson SUV.
