Hyundai Accent offers more space

Hyundai has unveiled its new Accent supermini, with increased space and improved features.

The Hyundai Accent CRDi 3dr is now slightly larger than the Ford Fiesta, but not quite the size of a Volkswagen Golf, as companies compete to add as much style and comfort to the supermini as possible.

The Hyundai Accent features strong design and safety technologies, impressive interior volume, six airbags, a 110bhp 1.6-litre four cylinder engine and good fuel efficiency.

The Auto Express describes the new Accent's seats as "very comfortable", the dashboard as "sensibly laid out" and the vehicle as well built and well equipped.

The Accent also comes with a 108bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine, which goes from 0-62mph in 11.5 seconds and returns over 60mpg.

The Hyundai Accent is already on sale in mainland Europe and the right-hand drive model will be available in the UK from next month, with a three-door Accent Atlantic special edition model available.

The Korean carmaker has also produced a sport-oriented Accent SE, a four-door Accent GLS and a five-door model and has recently launched its Santa Fe and Elantra ranges.
