Ford has announced it is introducing a raft of deals this summer, with massive savings on some of its most popular models. The American automotive giant said it is introducing savings of between £1,795 and £2,345 for retail customers, with a finance deal offering a rate of just 5.9 per cent for most cars. Ford's Ka collection is to have £1,295 knocked off its retail price, reducing it to £7,295, with an additional £500 in added extras, such as a quick-clear heated windscreen and free air-conditioning. The Fiesta Freedom has been reduced in price by £850 taking it to £8,895 and comes with £795 worth of free refinements. Customers will receive an MP3 socket, free air-conditioning, Bluetooth with voice activation, 15 inch alloys, quick-clear heated windscreen and metallic paint. Ford's Focus Sport 1.6 petrol version will be £1,000 cheaper than previously and is now priced at £12,995, with £350 worth of additional extras, such as metallic paint, having been added. The diesel version meanwhile has been reduced by £2,000 to £12,995 and also comes with free metallic paint. Ford said that all models, with the exception of the Focus ST, can be purchased with no deposit and if bought on Ford Options come with a 5.9 per cent APR finance rate. The offers will run from July 1st until September 30th 2006.
