Ford car news: Celebrities support campaign
Customers looking to check out their nearest Ford car dealership may be interested by news of a celebrity-backed showpiece designed to raise awareness of racism.The manufacturer hosted the Kick It Out event at the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence at Ford Dagenham, where stars from the world of music and television turned out in force.
Winston Ellis from Pirates of the Caribbean was among those in attendance, while former footballer Luther Blissett and ex-Arsenal and England physiotherapist Gary Lewin gave their support.
Additionally, there were 500 young east Londoners at the event, which celebrated the manufacturer's longstanding relationship with the anti-racism organisation.
Director of Kick It Out Piara Power said: "Once again Ford put on a fantastically engaging event. The relationship between Ford and Kick It Out goes from strength to strength and is a great demonstration of good corporate responsibility in action."
Those looking to get their hands on a Ford car deal could check out the S-Max, which was recently revealed to be choice of 80s pop group Spandau Ballet for their reformation tour.
