Colour choice 'gives clues to character traits'
The colour auto a person opts for when they make a purchase from their local Fiat or Ford car dealership could say a lot about their personality, if new research is anything to go by.A study by Carmony revealed individuals with similar character traits tend to go for the same finish.
Motorists who opt for white vehicles tend to have impossible ideals, while those who prefer black cars like to give off an air of mystery, the poll found.
The research also suggested drivers who are attracted to yellow models have sunny dispositions and are young at heart.
Paul Coleman, marketing director with the company behind the survey, commented: "Colour is an important part of the car-buying equation and colour preference speaks volumes about the driver's personality."
Meanwhile, motorists looking to buy a new car - regardless of colour - may back calls from the publisher Glass's for the scrappage scheme to be extended.
