Ford Mondeo estate 'practical and stylish'
Ford's new Mondeo estate is the "most practical and stylish" version of the car on offer, a motoring expert has said.The comments came after a reviewer had tested the Mondeo 2.0 TDCi estate for the First Drive section of Autocar magazine.
The reviewer could barely find any fault with the car, describing it as "refined, stylish and spacious" and praising its easy to use and extensive storage space.
Its handling also impressed on all road surfaces, while the new 2.0-litre diesel engine provides plenty of power for standing starts.
The new Mondeo estate is available now with on the road prices ranging from £16,245 for the 1.6i Duractec Edge to £24,295 for the 2.5i Duratec Titanium X.
Ford launched its new look range of Mondeos last month and it proved an immediate hit with car buyers in Europe, selling 8,800 units despite only being available in a limited number of territories.
