Five-star Mondeo joins NCAP top ten
The adult protection and child safety features of the new Ford Mondeo has seen the model pick up one of the top ten best-ever NCAP scores.Ford will be pleased to see the Mondeo join its Focus, Galaxy and S-MAX models in the listing.
NCAP awarded the vehicle a five-star rating for its adult occupant protection features and a four-star merit for its efforts to keep children in the car safe.
Vehicle safety manager at Ford of Europe Gisbert Haeb commented that the Mondeo is becoming safer with every release.
"It demonstrates emphatically that the work we devote to optimising the safety of Ford vehicles really pays off where it counts in a family car like Mondeo with significant protection for adults and children alike," he said.
The UEFA Champions League is sponsored by the automaker, with the firm setting up a website offering debate, opinion and vodcasts on all the latest games.
