Prices for Focus RS revealed
Ford has announced prices for the new Focus RS.Due to arrive at dealerships up and down the country in March, the model will cost from £24,995.
The car is reportedly Ford's fastest-ever European production vehicle and the first to be decorated with the Rallye Sport badge for seven years - when the original edition of the car was launched.
According to the manufacturer, the RS mark stands for high performance, refinement, safety, excellent road handling and value for money.
The latest Focus has a maximum speed in excess of 160 mph and can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in under six seconds.
Ford also claimed the vehicle is immediately recognisable - as a result of its unique side skirts, front bumper and bonnet.
Meanwhile, the manufacturer recently announced it had increased its share of new car sales by some five per cent in November, despite the economic downturn.
