New Focus 'proves popular with performance car fans'
Ford claims is has been inundated with orders for its new Ford Focus RS which made its debut at the British International Motor Show in London earlier this year.The manufacturer states it has already received 1,000.
Despite the fact no details regarding available colours have been confirmed yet, approximately 40 per cent of customers have requested the electric green shade of the model which was unveiled in London.
Other colours which are proving popular are electric blue and frozen white.
Commenting on the public's reaction to the vehicle, Roelant de Waard, chairman and managing director of Ford of Britain, said: "We're delighted by the reaction of performance car enthusiasts to the new Focus RS and that so many want to place orders."
The new model will not hit showrooms until early next year.
In other news from Ford, the manufacturer has revealed it will unveil the new Ka at this year's Paris Motor Show.
