Ford Focus ECOnetic is "class-leading"
One of the many benefits of the Ford Focus ECOnetic is its "class-leading dynamics".This is the opinion of the manufacturer, which commented after it was revealed that the vehicle is to be used for a new green driving event.
The car will be employed during July and August for the BP Efficient Driving Challenge, which involves participants fitted with analytical equipment able to evaluate their motoring style.
The people behind the wheel are then advised on eco-friendlier manoeuvres and how to conserve fuel.
David Calder is Ford's product manager and said the vehicle's philosophy of efficiency with desirable looks is what has made it a natural choice for the journey.
"This combination has attracted awards and industry recognition," he added.
Meanwhile, it emerged this week that the soundtrack used on Ford's latest Ka adverts is to be made publicly available after "popular demand".
The manufacturer said it decided to release the music in association with Universal Records.
