Ford signs up top international singers to promote the automaker
Ford's car range is set to be promoted by Grammy-nominated hip-hop singer Kelis and Mexican artist Patricia Manterola, the American automaker has revealed.Both performers will make an appearance on the blue opal's stand at the Chicago Auto Show 2007, which runs until February 18th 2007.
Patricia will perform on the evening of February 16th and sign copies of her new album while Kelis will appear a day later to sign autographs, help out with a raffle and hand out Ford t-shirts.
"We know that these artists will do a great job of generating buzz for Ford," remarked David Sanabria, cross-functional marketing manager at Ford.
"Patricia and Kelis represent great examples of how Ford is finding new and creative ways to connect with our customers."
In related news, Ford has also outlined plans for its stand at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The revised C-Max will sit alongside the S-Max at the event, underlining Ford's commitment towards multi-purpose vehicles.
