Ford 'tops green sales chart'
A number of vehicle manufacturers across the UK are working hard to improve their green credentials, but one in particular is showing the way, it has been suggested.Clean Green Cars said Ford was a field-leader when it comes to minimising the impact of its models on the environment.
It made this comment after it conducted research into the green credentials of all new autos sold in the UK so far this year.
Publisher of the website Jay Nagley stated: "New car carbon dioxide emissions are falling at an unprecedented rate and Ford is more than playing its part."
According to the vehicle manufacturer itself, its success in this area is down to new models like the Fiesta ECOnetic.
This particular car releases 98 g/km of CO2 and boasts fuel economy of 76.3 mpg.
