Ford goes all out with new Fiesta campaign

With the new Fiesta due to hit showrooms across the UK next month, Ford is making sure everyone knows about it.

The manufacturer is advertising in the press, on the internet, via radio, by direct mail and through sponsorship in an attempt to reach as many customers as possible.

It will also be making use of television adverts, with the first being aired on Friday September 19th during Channel 4 comedy Ugly Betty.

Mark Ovenden from Ford said: "We have a large customer base and our marketing campaign targets existing customers as well as a style conscious younger audience."

He added the company was keen to convey its "passion for great design and new technology".

City centre billboards featuring the new Fiesta are due to start appearing from September 22nd.

Meanwhile, Ford has announced it has received 1,000 advanced orders for the new Focus which goes on sale next year.
