Ford enjoys Fleet News success

Ford has scooped four honours at the recent Fleet News awards.

The group was named the number one manufacturer in the UK, the Fiesta took the title of Best Small Car, the S-MAX was handed the accolade of number one people carrier and the Kuga was voted the most impressive small SUV.

Managers of fleets had a say in choosing the best overall vehicle maker and the awarding magazine suggested Ford had triumphed because of the excellent support it offers customers and its constantly evolving range.

Commenting on the Fiesta being named Best Small Car, Fleet News stated the model was a worthy winner.

It said: "A great all-rounder - which will appeal to user-choosers and the public sector - the Fiesta will also make an excellent used car and should hold its value well."

At the beginning of the month, Ford's iosis MAX made its debut at the auto show in Geneva.
