Fiat Group has recorded increased revenue over the first quarter of the year.
The company saw its profits go up by close to ten per cent during the period, with 563,600 vehicles delivered to consumers.
A record quarter was experienced in Brazil, with the automobile manufacturer reporting a 35 per cent increase in demand, while Germany and France recorded hikes of 15 per cent and 27 per cent respectively.
The company added that across Europe, the Fiat Panda and Fiat 500 were the best-selling cars in the A-segment while the Punto also performed well.
"Fiat Group revenues rose nearly 10 per cent to 15 billion [£11.7 billion), with all businesses contributing to the increase, despite the uneven trading conditions in some key regions," the company announced.
Based in Turin, Fiat is a public company which was founded in 1899. It produces cars, trucks, buses and agricultural equipment.
