Stamps celebrate 1st class Punto
A new Royal Mail stamp has been unveiled that celebrates the UK sales success of the Fiat Grande Punto supermini.The unusual 1st class stamp, which depicts the vehicle from the front, will be individually numbered and available in sheets of 20.
The limited edition run of 6,000 sheets is expected to prove popular with car lovers and stamp collectors alike.
Fiat Auto UK's parts and service marketing manager, Andy Hayward, commented: "These stamps look fantastic and we believe that they are a great way to publicise Grande Punto’s sales success.
"They can be used as normal postage stamps to give letters added impact, or they can, of course, be collected by Fiat enthusiasts or philatelists."
The Grande Punto supermini became the fastest selling vehicle in Europe following its launch last autumn and this success has been matched in Britain, where around 20,000 models have been sold.
The stamps will be available through Fiat dealers.
