Fiat's new Croma launched

Fiat's new Croma model is due to be launched in the new year, aimed at families who want a practical yet stylish car.

Touted as the car that has the style of a saloon with the practicality of an MPV, the Croma is taller than a saloon and longer than an MPV, covering itself in both respects.

Standard features on the new model include family-friendly features, such as electric windows, air conditioning and a three-litre refrigerated box to carry picnics and drinks in.

The car has achieved a maximum five-star rating from the Euro NCAP, after 18,000 hours of calculations and 120 crash tests.

Safety and security in the car is one of its best features, as the Electronic Safety Program (ESP) helps the driver to control the car when stability is at risk, and also enhances family security.

The dynamic hatchback-style driving experience offered by the Croma is a major plus point, yet the versatile car is neither a true estate nor a hatchback.

The practical and spacious compact MPV starts at a cheap and reasonable price, and is a more-than-welcome edition to the family-car market.
