Motorists keen to reduce their carbon footprint may be inspired to pay a visit to their local Fiat car dealership when they hear the latest news from the manufacturer.The company revealed it has delivered a number if its Bravo models to the Energy Saving Trust for use on the organisation's Smarter Driving courses.
Individuals who take the training will be taught how to reduce their impact on the planet by changing their habits behind the wheel.
Fiat claimed the Bravo is ideal for demonstrating the benefits of environmentally-friendly motoring because the Eco is capable of 62.7 mpg.
National sales manager James McMenamin said the company was delighted the Energy Saving Trust had opted to use its auto.
He added: "The Fiat Bravo is the perfect car for this initiative and I am sure the delegates undergoing training will enjoy their experience behind the wheel."
Meanwhile, Waterloo Road star Angela Griffin recently picked up a Fiat 500C from her local Fiat car dealership.
