Fiat Bravo 2.0 MultiJet: Lean, green, clean
Fiat has announced the launch of the more powerful - and more economical - engine, the 165 bhp 2.0 MultiJet unit.According to the car marker, the entire five-door Bravo range will now benefit from the engine, which features a diesel particulate filter.
In addition, it is type-approved to Euro 5 standards, ahead of the 2009 deadline, as well as featuring an advanced exhaust gas recirculation system.
Available in Dynamic and Sport specifications, the engine is "not just greener", Fiat states.
"It further underscores the liveliness, flexibility and driving pleasure that have always been features of the Bravo."
The Bravo 2.0 MultiJet is priced at £17,155 on the road for the Sport version and £16,855 on the road for the Dynamic.
Meanwhile, Fiat recently announced that its new Panda Cross - which was launched in the UK around three months ago - has been named 4x4 of the Year 2009 by 4x4 and MPV Driver magazine.
