This weekend at the British International Motor Show the Citroen C6 will be unveiled, with a twist. Rather than just being able to look and admire the new model, visitors will have the chance to drive it as well. Anyone who can present their driving license can hop in and take the C6 for a test drive down a specifically developed route around the ExCel Centre for the entire duration of the show. Citroen said that the C6 model is markedly different from most executive saloons at the show, delivering new levels of comfort, style, technology and safety to the sector. Indeed, the French manufacturer claimed that the C6 features advanced technology and unparalleled safety credentials, in addition to a hydro-pneumatic suspension, super-quiet engines and extra features such as the driver's head-up display, all of which visitors can try out on Citroen's trial route at the ExCel. Citroen said that anyone interested in trying the C6 need only turn up at the Citroen stand and present their driving licence. And it is not only the C6 that visitors will be able to take for a spin, as Citroen will have drivable models of the C1, C2 Stop & Start, C4 featuring the new electronic gearbox system and the Xsara Picasso, which Citroen claims is the UK's most popular retail MPV. The British International Motor Show will run at the ExCel Centre in London'ss Docklands until July 30th.
