Citroen hails success at BIMS

	Citroen has hailed the British International Motor Showe held in London's Docklands as a roaring success. The French manufacturer said that in terms of positive enquiries and requests for test drives the show had been an unparalleled success, smashing what had been seen as optimistic targets. Marc Raven, Citroen director of communications, said: "We are extremely pleased how London has embraced the motor show. The Citroen stand has been extremely busy throughout with members of the public eager to learn more about the entire range. "The number and quality of enquiries has been outstanding, far exceeding our internal targets." Indeed, Citroen received so many requests for a test drive of its new C6 model that it was forced to introduce an additional vehicle to its fleet at the ExCel Centre on the second day. Citroen also said that its environmentally friendly C2 Stop & Start vehicle had been popular with visitors. "Environmentally friendly Londoners have also been keen to get behind the wheel of the C2 Stop & Start which uses the latest green technology to minimise noise, reduce fuel costs and CO2 emissions" Mr Raven added. The Citroen C-Buggy concept was another popular feature of the Citroen exhibit, the manufacturer said.
