French car manufacturer Citroen is to strengthen its green credentials by joining forces with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
The firm will become the Official Vehicle Partner to the RHS's flower shows at Hampton Court, Tatton Park and Chelsea, which attract more than 400,000 visitors each year.
Furthermore, it will sponsor the Plant Creche at the Hampton Court and Tatton Park shows.
Various cars will be prominently displayed at both events, including the new Grand C4 Picasso 7-seat compact MPV, which is also being used for the courtesy shuttle service between the venues and car parks.
Furthermore, the firm will host a special display featuring the C4 Picasso 5-seater and the C-Crosser 4x4 at the Hampton Court show.
Marc Raven, communications director at Citroen UK, said he was "delighted" that the firm has become the first Official Vehicle Partner at all the events.
He commented: "Gardening is one of the country's most popular pastimes, so whether it's shopping for plants or travelling to shows, cars are a key part of that experience."
Last year, Citroen was named Manufacturer of the Year at GreenFleet Award, as it has some of the least-polluting cars in the country.
The C-Crosser 4x4 has been developed to generate low emissions and includes features such as a diesel particulate filter system, which can keep carbon emissions down at 194g per km.
