Hyundai has announced it will be introducing a new name for its latest high-value special edition models. The South Korean manufacturer's new 'Atlantic' range includes the Hyundai Accent Atlantic, Hyundai Getz Atlantic, and the Hyundai Coupe Atlantic, although production of this model is restricted to just 500. Hyundai's Accent Atlantic model is the latest addition to the Hyundai range, replacing both the previous Accent model and the Elantra, neither of which will be sold in the UK from now on. The three-door hatchback boasts a 1.4-litre petrol engine and comes with alloy wheels, a high-mounted rear spoiler with stop light and air conditioning. To be launched on August 1st, Hyundai said the Accent Atlantic is priced at £8,995 and will come with three-year's free servicing. The Hyundai Getz Atlantic model features largely the same equipment as the standard five-door version, but priced at £7,990 on-the-road it also comes with colour-coded carpet mats, carbon grain interior trim and a rear roof spoiler with brake light. However, customers who buy between July 1st and the end of September will receive an additional £700, as a short-term offer sees the model priced at £7,290, in addition to three year's free servicing. The Hyundai Coupe meanwhile has also been treated to the Atlantic treatment, although just 500 of the model will be produced. Based on the existing 2.0 SE with manual transmission, the Atlantic version comes with six-disc CD changer, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, colour-coded mats, automatic lights-on control and climate control with Air Quality Control System Some £600 worth of additional extras have been added for free, but like the Hyundai Getz Atlantic customers who buy the Hyundai Coupe Atlantic between July and September can enjoy an additional £500 saving, pricing the model at £16,670.
