New green promotion from acclaimed car manufacturer
Citroen has espoused its commitment to the environment with a new campaign to get drivers to cut down on their carbon emissions.The French automaker has already been rewarded for its eco-efforts with two Car Manufacturer of the Year awards from GreenFleet.
Now it will take this experience one step further with the Go Lo CO2 campaign, which gives drivers incentives for switching to environmentally-friendly vehicles.
Motorists can receives a payment of up to £1,000 for changing their habits, while a zero per cent finance option accompanies certain models.
Citroen commented that it is "firmly committed" to he cause.
"[The company] is increasingly being recognised for producing affordable cars that feature cutting-edge technologies to minimise their impact on the environment," it said.
Formed in 1919, Citroen is a subsidiary of PSA Peugeot and its headquarters can be found in Paris, France.
