Get a Citroen C-Zero for 'a cheap eco-car deal'
Customers with their eye on an affordable eco-car deal might want to head to their nearest Citroen dealership and check out the C-Zero.That's because the motor will be exempt from company car tax next year, potentially giving environmentally-conscious buyers the perfect reason to part with their cash.
Potential purchasers might want to take advantage of the tax incentives outlined in Alistair Darling's pre-Budget report – which may entice consumers to pick up an electric vehicle.
The C-Zero is powered by a 330-volt lithium-ion battery – which helps achieve a maximum torque of 180 nanometres.
Moreover, the motor typically hits a range of 80 miles following a single domestic power supply charge.
As part of the COP15 event in Copenhagen, Citroen has hosted a series of presentations – led by industry experts – which touched upon the future of green motoring.
In particular, it will debate issues of how low-carbon targets can be reached.
