Citroen to unveil DS3 in Frankfurt
Citroen has revealed it will launch its new DS3 at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, ahead of its UK launch in spring 2010.The French car manufacturer claims its new supermini will combine environmentally-friendly motoring with stylish design.
It will come with a choice of three petrol engines, with CO2 emissions ranging from 136g/km to 160g/km.
Motorists who choose the DS3 for their next vehicle will also be able to select a 90bhp HDi diesel engine, which will come in the zero car tax band, as its emissions are just 99g/km.
Citroen insists that a green car can be a fun car and has attempted to prove it with the DS3, which has a design the automaker describes as the "antidote to blandness".
Among its design features are LED lights, a colour-contrasted floating roof and sections of chrome and leather interior trim, while it also comes with an integrated satellite navigation, audio and multimedia system.
