Motorists looking for a more spacious drive may be interested to know that the new C4 Picasso has now gone on sale at Citroen car dealerships across the country.
The model sits between the Xsara Picasso and the Grand C4 Picasso, meaning the French firm is the first automaker in the country to offer three distinct compact multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs).
And Citroen hopes that one of the unique selling points of the new C4 Picasso will be its spacious storage capacity.
With all five seats in use, the car has a 605-litre boot space, but this almost triples to 1,734 litres when the seats are folded.
Xavier Duchemin, managing director at Citroen UK, pointed out the positive omens for the new model.
"With its dynamic styling, cutting-edge technology and light, bright and airy interior, the new C4 Picasso has all the right ingredients to stand out from the five-seat MPV crowd," he said.
Last month, Citroen revealed that motorists who bought the Berlingo Multispace before the end of March 2007 will be entitled to have an entertainment pack, featuring two seven-ins display screens, included at no extra cost.
