Citroen Dispatch named best van

The Citroen Dispatch has been named as the van of the year in a new awards event.

Along with the Fiat Scudo and the Peugeot Expert, which are all part of the same family, the van was named International Van of the Year 2008.

Thus far, more than 110,000 units of the vehicle have been produced, which its manufacturer claims is proof of its positive impact upon the market.

PSA Peugeot Citroen commented: "The award clearly endorses the PSA Peugeot Citroen strategy of developing a consistent, aligned range of light commercial vehicles."

The firm added that it is the leading manufacturer of light commercial vehicles in Europe.

Meanwhile EurotaxGlass's has claimed that the used car industry is currently a buyers' market, with vendors offering good prices.
