An automotive publication has snatched a sneak peak of the forthcoming Citroen C5 estate.
Although the model is not expected to make a public appearance until the Geneva motor show in 12 month's time, motoring magazine Auto Express has given Citroen aficionados an early taste of what to expect.
The estate apparently displays a range of distinctive features, including a bold front grille, a rear spoiler and a curvy interior dashboard.
Moreover, the model boasts a vertical rear screen, which it is suggested has been done to maximise its load-carrying ability.
"The next-generation family model looks set to be a strong contended in the estate class by providing a huge load area," the report asserted.
It is rumoured that the model will go on sale in late 2007, with pricing in the region of £17,000.
In related news, this week saw Citroen unveil the new C2 Code, which aims to catch the eye of passers-by with unique paintwork, including a bold roof-spanning racing stripe.
