Citroen's safety credentials recognised
Motorists who prioritise the protection offered by an auto may want to opt for a Citroen car when they trade in their current model, if the company's latest achievement is anything to go by.At this year's Brake Fleet Safety Forum Awards the group was named Best Vehicle Manufacturer.
The firm suggested this may be partly down to the fact the C6 was the first auto to receive maximum five-star ratings from Euro Ncap for both pedestrian and adult protection.
In addition, the C4 also received the best possible adult safety score.
Citroen also pointed out its vehicles come with a range of equipment to protect drivers in the event of a crash and to help them avoid an accident in the first place.
Such gadgets include head-up displays and a lane departure warning systems.
In other news, the manufacturer's new C3 model is due to arrive in Citroen dealerships up and down the country early next year.
