Citroen car boasts 'great safety record'
A Citroen C4 car deal could make perfect sense to customers for whom safety is their highest priority.This follows news of a programme by Think! called Be Bright, Be Seen, which underlined the importance of motorists keeping their concentration while driving.
In total, 712 pedestrians between the ages of six and 11 were killed or badly injured in 2008 - according to the Department for Transport.
As such, drivers may be gladdened to learn that the 2004 C4 model is regarded to be one of the most reliable in respect of adult safety, according to the Euro New Car Assessment Programme.
It rated the vehicle with five stars for its security-first credentials, while the Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall Astra also scored well in this respect.
Meanwhile, the organisation claims the aforementioned motors also achieve a high performance in relation to protecting children from road accidents.
According to the manufacturer, the C4 Hatchback offers a "seductive balance of advanced technology, refreshing style and pure driveability".
