Citroen C4 Picasso recognised at BBC Top Gear Awards 2006
The Citroen C4 Picasso has been recognised as Family Car of the Year by the BBC Top Gear Awards 2006.Commenting on the decision, the judging panel explained that it felt the Citroen car was "very cleverly designed" and stood out from its rivals in the large family car category.
"This clever machine probably meets people's needs - families' needs to be more specific - better than any other car yet created," it remarked.
Moreover, the panel concluded that the Citroen car "will make families all over Europe very happy indeed".
As a seven-seat compact multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the C4 Picasso should offer plenty of passenger space for larger families when it arrives in Citroen car dealerships on January 15th 2006.
But the C4 Picasso will also offer a range of specialist driver aids to MPV owners for the first time.
Among the class innovations, motorists will be able to take advantage of a self-levelling suspension system and a device that assists with hill starts.
