Citroen C4 Picasso receives awards hat-trick
The Citroen C4 Picasso has been awarded a hat-trick of distinctions from an automotive magazine, with the judges praising the "wow factor" of the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).Although it is not scheduled to be introduced to Citroen car dealerships in the UK until early 2007, the 4x4 MPV Driver publication has already awarded it the title MPV of the Year.
Meanwhile, the model has also been awarded MPV Deal of the Year and MPV Innovation of the Year for its use of 32 different interior lighting sources to improve in-car visibility.
Commenting on the awards hat-trick, the judgement panel said: "With ride comfort, quietness and a relaxing measure of Gallic loping ability…the C4 Picasso is a car any driver would look forward to spending a day in."
In recent months, Citroen has also received plaudits for its TV advertising campaign to promote the Citroen C4, which features a dancing transformer robot and a soundtrack from dance group Les Rhythmes Digitales.
