Citroen C4 Picasso praised for seating flexibility

The flexibility of seating arrangements on the Citroen C4 Picasso has received praise from a car reviewer.

Journalist David Finlay was given the chance to try out the successor to the Citroen Picasso and has written up his conclusions for automotive website Car Keys.

And Mr Finlay has explained why he believes the C4 Picasso's seating layout is "probably its best feature".

"All models get seven seats as standard and changing their layout is a matter of the utmost simplicity," he said.

"Each of the five seats in the second and third rows can be raised or lowered using no more than one finger."

Away from internal design innovations, some motorists may harbour reservations that this model sacrifices performance in order to provide the extra spaciousness, as has happened with compact multi-purpose vehicles in years gone by.

However, Mr Finlay has sought to reassure motorists that this model can reach an absolute top speed of 112 mph - more than ample for any UK roads.
